This can also be described as a mental illness that limits the affected person’s thinking, feeling, and actions. There are a variety of mental illnesses and disabilities. Examples include depression and eating disorders.

Mental disability

Mental disabilities include, for example, addictions. Addiction means dependence, which in turn suggests that something is no longer done voluntarily, but because the dependent person feels pressure to do it.

Mental and behavioral disorders/diseases of the nervous system

Chronic pain should definitely be mentioned here. This is when pain persists over a long period of time (6 months). Chronic pain no longer serves as a warning signal, but has developed into constant pain and thus into a disease in its own right. Another chronic mental illness is chronic depression. It is considered chronic when it lasts for at least 6 months. There are many different types of depression, which can be treated at different rates.

Developmental disorder
